Cosmetica Manicure Brush Cleanser

By Fashionmakeupandbeauty @_melissajayne

While i was in my nearby target i came across this brush cleanser, i had never heard of it before so i thought i would pick it up and give it a try. It cost between $11-14 i cant remember the exact price as it was about 3 week ago now and i have since been testing it out. I knew i would have to use something to clean my brushes as i never brought anything from England with me.

For the price for 100ml wasn't bad i just wish i had looked at the ingredients which where in it before i had bought it. Isopropyl Alcohol and fragrance that is it and let me say that is not the best thing you really want to be cleaning your brushes with all the time. Since been as college i learnt definitely learnt alot about make up and keeping equipment clean this includes brushes. With our kit we got we got a little bottle of pure Isopropyl Alcohol which really this is and it is definitely to harsh of a liquid to be washing you brushes in. It will just dry them up and make them brittle and break it is best for say getting special effects make up out of brushes but that's it and using in the special effects industry. And also it has a horrible plasticy alcohol smell would you really want that on your face. However you may not believe me but i am a quantified Make-Up Artist. I tested the brushes cleaner out for you to see on a mac 217 that i had used a few times to get it shadowed up.

Just a few pumps and wiped clean and up came up clean.

It got the brush super clean but also the brush went pretty dry i would recommend just using a shampoo handwash or just handsanizer rather than ruining your brushes. And it also saves you money!

Is this no good as a spot cleaner either? I just bought this thinking I could use it as a spot cleaner but the instructions says to rinse well...I'm looking for something to spot clean that won't leave me waiting all day for my brushes to dry...
