Cooking Pasta

Cooking Pasta
Been into cooking and baking lately. I decided today I shall do something simple. I also decided to write this blog post after I'm done with lunch. Hardworking bloggger! LOL. Click on read more to see how I do it. It isn't much but at least I explain a bit. I'm not on a diet. It's more towards trying to eat healthier and control the amount of food I take in, and also exercising but that will be in another blog post. I didn't know what the title was going to be because this cooking of mine was going for the Aglio Olio but I wanted more vegetables.

So, this is what you'll need with you to cook: olive oil, vegetables, pasta, chilli flakes, a bit of salt, tuna. I'm not pro in cooking. So this is pretty simple for beginners. This cooking of mine was for only 1 person. You can estimate the ingredients yourself if you want to cook it for 2 or more people. Hahahahaha! I'm not a help. Well, for myself, I cook by feel. Yeah, estimating everything myself and I tend to get it right. I follow my mother's way of cooking.
Anyways, first you'll need to cook the pasta. Add a pinch of salt to the boiling water. I would only place the pasta when the water is boiling. Leave it for 15 minutes or until it's done according to you. Whilst waiting for the pasta to cook, I went on to cutting the vegetables. In this case, I used carrots, green pepper and mushrooms. Not much of the 'vegee' family. LOL. Of course you have to wash your vegees! Don't forget to do that!
Okay, after the pasta is done, rinse it out and let it cool down. I add a bit of olive oil so it won't stick together. I then fry the vegees for two minutes. Personally, for me, I have some uncooked phobia especially with mushrooms. My mushrooms have to cooked properly! Then I added chunks of tuna (half of the amount in the tin). The tuna adds more flavour to the pasta. You'll taste it later. Cooked it for another 1 minute. Then only added the pasta and cooked it for 5 minutes or more. Seriously, according to you. Lastly, you serve it.
As for the egg, you can add it, if you'd like too. It's just for extra. I was so full. I couldn't finish the food. I gave the leftovers to my sister and she said she liked it. It was delicious. So have a try. It's pretty simple. There was more vegee than tuna.
