I’m here only in the physical sense. Mentally, I’m in Villa Drapanias with Alex and Anna. This is my last weekend with them before they meet my new editor. For the next 48 hours, Anna and Alex’s fates are still in my hands.
Sting sang, “To search for perfection is all very well, but to look for heaven is to live here in hell.” I think he got it the wrong way round. All I want is for Change of Pace to be the best it can be. I’m searching for perfection… and it’s driving me insane. Until Monday, I’m in a hell of my own making.
