Community Garden Visit

By Scarecrow
Community Garden VisitNot a lot of propagation happening around here lately but I did get to go with some of our Community Garden Plotters to visit a Community Garden in a nearby township. They had some interesting ideas happening there as the photo above shows. We came back with a huge Pumpkin which was shared and made into some warming soup for the Twilight Gathering last week. The seeds of the pumpkin are drying in my spare room right now for next summer.

Rescued Self Sown Seedlings:

NZ Spinach
Canary Island Lavender
Planting Out:
NZ Spinach moved from a pathway
Gooseberry plant moved to the orchard/food forest
Dianella revoluta
Statice
The next lot of propagation will be Seeds of Fruiting crops  which can be sown from 11.30am on the 7th up to and including the 11th of July.
