COMIC Con 2014: Stephen Moyer Talks About True Blood’s Final Episode Ever

Posted on the 27 July 2014 by Truebloodnetcom @truebloodnet

Obviously, as the season’s going on, you get an idea of where things are moving. So, there were a lot of things in there that I was expecting, there were a couple of things I wasn’t. And I think that Brian Buckner – Bucky – has done a good job of giving every single fan something that they would like.

What of filming that last scene?

Of course Stephen is sad, but he is also happy too. it is a somewhat bittersweet moment for him.

And what about Bill and his recent case of Hep-V? Is there any hope for him?

I think the interesting thing about it is… One of the things I was slightly unsure of going from Season 6 into Season 7 was that Hep-V is this disease that only kills vampires. Obviously there’s lots of metaphors in there and parallels with our society and, therefore, I was worried that because it’s so debilitating that it might be a downer, that it might feel like it’s actually sort of crushing the energy of our show which has always been so dynamic and great. But, actually, I think it makes the emotion become more impacted.

Mmm, sounds like he avoided answering the question there…

Ausiello then asked how Sookie (Anna Paquin) and Bill fans will like the Season 7 finale:

I think there will be people who are pleased and people who… don’t quite get what they expect… It’s a clever way, we do well to tie up a lot of knots.
