Comedian Kevin Hart opens up about both his professional journey and his personal life on the new season of Oprah’s Master Class.
On the show that airs, Saturday, June 10th, Hart explains that no matter how successful and famous he gets, his strong upbringing by his dedicated mother, as well as his difficult relationship with his father, taught him to value his wife and his children above all else.

Hart sat down with Oprah Winfrey back in 2014, and shared a life lesson he learned from his mother about reading the Bible.
When Kevin Hart decided to pursue stand-up comedy, his mother gave him a year to prove that it really was his dream. Months later, when Kevin asked her to help with rent, she responded with a question of her own: “Are you reading your Bible?”
