Comedian Joel Chasnoff will be performing in UNCA’s Lipinsky Hall tomorrow night. Show starts at 7:30 p.m. and tickets are $20. But you can get half off tickets via You Get We Give here.
About Chasnoff:
Joel Chasnoff is a stand-up comedian and writer with stage and screen credits in eight countries. In February 2010, Simon and Schuster published Joel’s comedic memoir, 188th Crybaby Brigade, about his year as a combat soldier in the Israeli Army. The book made the Denver Post bestseller list. Kirkus Reviews calledCrybaby Brigade “Horrifyingly hilarious.”
Joel is currently writing the text for Balaboosta: A Cookbook (Workman) with Israeli chef and two-time Chopped! champion Einat Admony. His writing has also appeared in The Idiot’s Guide to Jokes (Alpha), The Big Book of Jewish Humor: 25th Anniversary Edition (Morrow), and the Daily Forward.
A portion of all proceeds from Joel’s book and stand-up performances is donated to Joel’s charitable foundation, Project Elijah. Most recently, Project Elijah sent one hundred low-income New York City schoolchildren to the circus.
