Combing the Tide

I wrote of villagers of Haigyikyun and how the village men battle tide to catch a specific bounty from the sea: tiny shrimps (see The Fisherfolks of Haigyikyun). In the course of the day, as I watched and took photos of these brave men, I collected photos of individuals who seem oblivious to the crashing waves as they comb the tide for these tiny creatures. Here's a few of my favorites.
