Color Of The Year 2017 Greenery

Hope you all are set to welcome spring season with the festival of colors Holi. Pantone has announced the color of the year 2017 and it is inspired by nature. You will see this color all around you during spring and summer and is color of balance and harmony.

Greenery is also the color of growth, the color of spring, of renewal and rebirth. It renews and restores depleted energy. It is not a “green with envy” hue but a relaxing color on the earth and I believe that it soothes and heals our soul.

Greenery is an emotionally positive color, giving us the ability to love and nurture ourselves and others unconditionally. A natural peacemaker, which is very different from the color of the year 2013 which was Emerald.

“There’s a growing desire to reconnect with Nature and what is real, and find ways to disconnect from technology. We need a break. We need to stop and breathe,” Laurie Pressman, the Pantone Color Institute’s vice president, told to FORBES. “(Greenery) is about unity and community—connecting to oneself and others and a higher purpose, Nature.”

I like green color and greenery around me but green outfits makes me look dull. Therefore, this restrains me from buying green cloths. I have a colorful wardrobe but this one color is missing.
