COLOR MANILA NITE RUN LIGHTING UP THE BGC STREETS ON FEB. 23, 2013
ProactiveSports a sports event management team will be participating the BGC’s February Arts Festival by organizing another fun filled running / street party event. The event will be on February 23, 2013 (Saturday) evening; it will be first night run for BGC and its aim is to bring about unique experience of running, infused with a led color-extravaganza lights.
This event is part of the Color Manila Fun Run series. The first parts was held also in BGC last January 6, 2013 and it was the most colourful event ever held in Manila. In the tradition of colors, for Color Manila Nite Run everyone will glow and flicker in the dark. Every runner who register will be handed out with our unique Color Manila Nite Run shirt (it comes with a unique ID number) plus glow packet (ex. glowing-in-the-dark eye glasses).Plus, everyone will be encouraged to put out their creativity by putting on glow-in-the dark face paint and accessories themselves with anything that lights-up.
Our fun run categories are composed of 3k, 5k & 10k divisions and the race assembly will start at 8:00PM. We have a late start so our runners will enjoy the route without weaving through motorist. Along the event, runners can expect bands playing their musical instruments along the route plus surprises along the route. Our goal is for runners to see BGC in a different light; that’s the reason why we have created a route that will pass-through 26th and 30th so our runners will see the unique landmarks of BGC. When runners cross the finishline, they will feel the party-like atmosphere with our ligt set-up and line-up of bands.
As a tradition, running is also way to give back to society. This event is for the benefit of Green Box of Box a foundation that is lead and organized by College of St. Benilde. The donation gather due to this event will be used buy and support trees as part of their greening project.
Registration is from Janury 19 to February 16, 2013, from 1PM to 8PM, daily at the following registration sites:

A registration fee of P 850 will be required to participants of all divisions.
