Cogne and gran paradiso
Una località interessante nella Valle d'Aosta è sicuramente Cogne: adatta a tutti sia d'estate che d'inverno. L' attrazione principale di questa località è sicuramente il Gran Paradiso, magnifico e maestoso monte che dà il nome all'omonimo parco.
An interesting location is definitely Cogne in the Valle d'Aosta. It is suitable for all, both in summer and winter. The main attraction of this village is definitely the Gran Paradiso, a magnificent and majestic mountain that gives the name to the park around.
Questo monte è il vero protagonista di tutto il circondario che comprende anche , Rhêmes e Valgrisenche, così come le piste che salgono dal fondo valle fino a Mont Fallère e la valle di Vertosan.
Cogne si trova a 1.534 metri, nel cuore del Parco del Gran Paradiso. Antica terra di Salassi e importante centro minerario del ferro, vanta un passato ricco di storia, cultura e tradizioni, che ama raccontare e riproporre attraverso feste, mostre e incontri.
This mountain is the true protagonist of the whole district which includes, Rhêmes and Valgrisenche, as well as the slopes that rise from the valley to Mont Fallère and the valley of Vertosan.
Cogne is located at 1,534 meters, in the heart of the Gran Paradiso National Park, which is considered the "capital". It was the ancient land of Salassi and important mine of iron, , it has a rich history, culture and traditions. Cogne loves to tell and reliveall these aspects through the festivals, the exhibitions and the meetings.
Cogne è una delle regine della Valle d'Aosta per quanto riguarda lo sci di fondo. Le lunghe piste di fondo sotto le cime della Grivola e il Gran Paradiso si estendono per più di 70 chilometri. Qui si svolgono Gare internazionali come quella che ha di solito luogo a marzo e che si sviluppa su un anello di 45 kilometri. Lo sci da fondo è una disciplina molto bella : forse meno adrenalinica dello sci di discesa ma che permette un allenamento completo e la sensazione di essere in completa simbiosi con l'ambiente circostante.
Cogne is one of the top location of the Valle d'Aosta for the cross- country skiing. The long slopesfor this kind of ski - below the peaks of the Gran Paradiso and Grivola - extend for more than 70 km. The international competitions take place here. One of the most important competition is in March. The cross-country skiing is a discipline very beautiful, perhaps less adrenaline than the alpine ski but it allows a complete workout and the feeling of being in complete harmony with the surrounding environment.
Io adoro tutti gli sport invernali : sci di fondo, da discesa, snowboard, slittino, bob , ciaspolata. Ovviamente non si può eccellere in tutto, ma il divertimento è assicurato. Quando poi ci troviamo in località che hanno strutture adatte a praticare determinati sport ritengo sia sempre consigliabile approfittarne.
Obviously you will not be able in every discipline, but the fun is guaranteed.
And when you are in some place where you can pratice play the sports, I think it is always advisable to take advantage.
Poniamo che vogliate andare a Cogne d'estate: è vero in città fa caldo, il clima è torrido e il vostro desiderio è poter godere della frescura dei monti e del verde dei prati. Camminare fa sempre bene, anche se non si è in forma si può approfittare per fare due passi rilassati in mezzo alla natura.

Può essere una magnifica occasione per visitare il parco del Gran Paradiso. Se siete buoni camminatori, ma anche pazienti osservatori, potrete aggregarvi a gite organizzate per osservare gli uccelli e poter ammirare qualche cerbiatto nel suo contesto naturale. A me crea sempre emozioni vedere animali inseriti nel loro ambiente, dove i veri padroni sono loro.
Il giardino botanico Paradisia si trova all'interno del Parco Nazionale più antico d'Italia, ed è degno di nota. Il giardino è la patria di più di 1000 specie delle nostre montagne, con due itinerari botanici, un'esposizione petrografica, una collezione di licheni e di un giardino delle farfalle.
