Cochem In The Late Afternoon

By Ingridd @cosytraveler

Lars and I have the habit to start and/or end our bigger trips at our beloved German river, the Moselle. After having stayed at some of the smaller villages, we chose Cochem for the beginning of our Easter trip:

Our hotel and the restaurant where we had dinner were very close to the river, so I was able to shoot some beautiful pictures in the beginning of the evening. The castle you see in the background is the Imperial Castle, originally built in the 11th century, blown up in the 17th century and reconstructed in the 19th century.
