Clinique's Chubby Stick~Mega Melon~

By Kwilliford @ExquisiteEczema
I know the Chubby Sticks have been out for awhile now, but today was the first day I really got to try them.  I received Mega Melon in a gift, and it looked like a nice, neutral color. And it is.  The shade is beautiful and is great for everyday wear.   Clinique describes it as a nourishing lip color and it has shea and mango butter.  I did not find it to be very moisturizing, though.  When you first apply, it does feel nice but the moisturizing feeling goes away pretty quickly.  I noticed it after about 45 minutes to an hour.  I would not say it dried my lips out, but it was not as moisturizing as a I had expected.  The color does stay on really well, though.  Since I have eczema prone lips that can get very dry, I would not recommend this to anyone that does.  It did not irritate my lips in any way but it is not a good option for very dry lips.  I am also not a fan of lip products you have to sharpen because I feel like a lot of product is wasted.  If dry lips are not a problem for you, I say go for it if it is something you want to try =)  It is easy to take on the go, apply in a hurry and gives a touch of color.  All in all, it is not a bad product and I will use it on days I am in a hurry or want to wear minimal makeup.
