With Autumn just round the corner, there are new beauty launches everywhere that you look, but today I wanted to share with you one that really stood out to me, the Clarins Ladylike Autumn Collection. A neutral, elegant and feminine collection, this would suit everybody from young to old and the luxurious feel to all the products makes it truly special to treat yourself to. To me, the collection has a real 90's vibe about it, which is really coming back into fashion thanks to a certain Miss Jenner, with matte finishes and brown, earthy tones all with a modern twist it is the perfect introduction to the trend. I've been using it to create loosely Kylie inspired look, which I thought I would share with you, but unfortunately I seem to have lost the photos of how it looks on *sad faces* due to a malfunction with my SD card. Watch this space for an update though! For now though, here's a quick run down of the best of the collection.
Cream to Matte Eyeshadow in Nude Pink - This works amazingly as a base, really making the eyeshadows stick all day, and increasing the intensity of the color. Buttery soft creams that turn to powder and dry with a matte finish, the color range of these is amazing, (I also really love Sparkle Grey, which I think will be great for christmas) - something to suit everybody. Easily wearable on their own and the easiest thing to apply a light wash of with a finger, I can definitely see these becoming an everyday product for me.
Clarins Rouge Eclat Lipstick in Starwberry Sorbet - a beautiful brown toned nude that has the staying power of anything and sits on the lips perfectly, this is an everyday lipstick that could be worn by absolutely anyone. With a little shine but still the rich pigmentation of a normal lipstick this sits somewhere between a balm and lipstick and is extremely comfortable to wear. Worn with a lip liner, it has that whole Kylie Jenner look sorted, a great year round color.
Eye Quartet Mineral Palette -I've saved the best till last here, four shades with amazing pigmentation, semi matte finish and all housed in the most gorgeous gold box (complete with velvet sock - fancy, huh?) this has definitely moved into place of favorite palette for me. The palette is the perfect traveling companion, with all the colours that you would need to take you from day to night, and the colours are all extremely pigmented and buttery soft, even the highlight shade, which can often tend to be chalky. I can see this being extremely popular, so if I were you I would grab it and run!
