Electro pop trio Chvrches, started of 2013 being shortlisted for BBC’s Sound Of 2013 and placing 5th.
Their latest single ‘Recover’, which was Zane Lowe’s Hottest Record on Wednesday, serves as a follow up to previous singles such as ‘Lies‘ and ‘The Mother We Share‘. Once again, Chvrches deliver an infectious melody with dark synth-pop textures and sweet piercing vocals from Lauren Mayberry.
Having recently supported Passion Pit on tour, the band are set to embark upon their own four-date headline tour, starting February 25th in Manchester, before continuing to the US and Canada. Full tour dates available here. Be sure to check out the trio at this year’s ‘Field Day‘ Festival in May.
The ‘Recover EP’ is set for release March 25th via Godye Records/Virgin Records., while their debut album is expected later this year.
