CHVRCHES Are Back with Stadium Sized Anthem ‘Leave a Trace’ [Stream]

While it seems like they haven’t been gone for that long, what with the incredible ubiquity of their awesome debut The Bones of What You Believe, the Scottish electro-popers CHVRCHES haven’t released new music in over nearly 2 years. That all changes today with the announcement of a new record and the first track “Leave A Trace.” It follows the same pattern that made the last record so sucessful and satisfying, with explosive and sparkling synths under Lauren Mayberry’s clean, frank vocals. This track feels a little bigger than the already stadium ready hits of the first record – with a soaring chorus and pulsing beat that seems preordained to get thousands of fans jumping.
