Christina El Moussa From “Flip Or Flop” Officially Filed For Divorce
Hopefully, she also filed for a restraining order or moved somewhere with little to no running paths nearby, because her ex likes to go for angry jogs while armed.
US Weekly reports that reality television homewrecker (I’m referencing the show) Christina El Moussa has filed for divorce from her husband and Flip or Flop co-host, Tarek El Moussa. This move comes several months after HE filed his own documents. And Christina wants some money, honey.
ET reports that Christina has requested spousal support in addition to Tarek receiving the bill for all of her legal fees. And then she’d like to move on to the next shiny-faced, possibly dangerous realtor. A source reveals to ET:
“Christina is looking forward to moving on to the next chapter in her life.”
The money grab is kind of a big middle finger to Tarek. Because, in his filing, he requested that SHE pay HIM spousal support and not pursue any alimony of her own. It’s on, now!
On the bright side, HGTV’s favorite dysfunctional couple have both requested joint physical and legal custody of their two kids, daughter Taylor and son Brayden. So it sounds like it will be half the week at Mom’s, half the week at Dad’s. At least the kids will be able to hear BOTH sides of their parents bellowing over the phone to each other and lawyers as they fight over the HGTV money.
To add to the stress of what will probably become a heated legal battle, Christina and Tarek have both stated that they want to continue co-hosting Flip or Flop. And you thought it was a bad idea for reality television when the Duggars came back. It’s all fun and games until a disagreement about crown molding turns that week’s house into a shooting gallery. *frown*
