Choe Ryong Hae Visits Taekwondo Hall Renovation

Choe Ryong Hae tours the construction of the Taekwondo Hall in Pyongyang which appeared bottom right of the second page of the January 24, 2016 edition of Rodong Sinmun

DPRK state media reported on January 23 (Monday) that State Affairs Commission Vice Chairman, Workers’ Party of Korea [WPK] Vice Chairman for Workers’ and Social Organizations and State Physical Culture and Sports Guidance Commission Chairman Choe Ryong Hae (Ch’oe Ryong-hae) visited the renovation work at the Taekwondo Hall.  Also in attendance were senior officials and cadres of the KPA General Political Department, the Youth League and the DPRK Cabinet.  As he toured the construction site, Choe “encouraged the builders to  register signal successes in the renovation project” and he “took measures for improving the quality of renovation work to successfully ensure the 20th World Taekwondo Championships, and for finishing the project at an early date.”
