Chic Boyfriend Jean Style

By Masfashion

When I was a little girl I liked to call myself tomboy. Although looking back I think I liked the label better than I liked the style. I used to tell people that I liked to get dirty and hated dresses but really, I liked being clean and I liked dresses. So I can’t say that I could ever call myself a real tomboy. Unless not washing your hair for a week and wearing your husbands clothes counts?

However, I really like the idea of being a tomboy. Wearing baggy jeans and loose tops. I mean, can you think of anything more comfortable? I have a pair of boyfriend jeans that I spent way too much money on for the amount I wear them. I find them hard to style and I have (annoyingly) pounded in my head that they look better on itty bitty girls. But, I hold on to them because I really like the idea of them – comfy, loose, versatile, fashionable. Since I already feel kind of awkward in boyfriend jeans I try to always have one feminine piece. In this look I went with my favorite vintage jacket from St. John. It is a little on the preppy side for me but I find it goes with anything and can make a look really unique. Since I am holding out on the idea of boyfriend jeans I plan to style them a new way every few weeks. I really like the idea of unrolling them and wearing them as long, baggy jeans but I have yet to try it out! If you have any suggestions I would love to hear because, the.struggle.is.real!
