This post is slightly different for a couple of reasons - first, I usually post more casual looks. I am most definitely a creature of comfort and slouchy jeans, leather flats and loose-fitting tops call out to me more so than smarter, more dynamic styles. Saying that, I relish the opportunity to wear a pair of heels for an occasion that isn't work, and here is just that. The other thing that I guess is slightly different about this post though, is that I am firmly out of my comfort zone.
Things that scare me about this outfit;
Crop top - midriff on showSkirt / top - I have no waistMid length skirt - frumpy?Of course, these are things I shouldn't be fussing about - I'm barely showing an inch of stomach, and mid length skirts are totally in now. I gave myself a personal challenge to wear something I wouldn't normally go for and this really combines a whole load of things I wouldn't normally choose! The good news is that I love it, and it has totally given me the kick I needed to get out of my comfort zone and stop being a snooze.
