As silly as this sounds, I’ve always wandered by the Chester Grosvenor and wanted to take a look inside. It’s such a beautiful building and looks so luxurious as you get a glimpse through the door, you can’t help but trip over yourself for looking!
Well, my dream finally came true after Charlotte spotted me in Bride magazine and came to meet me to discuss her wedding plans! I have been excited about this wedding since that first meeting but tried to play it cool! Amir had given Charlotte 3 months to plan this wedding. I can’t believe she pulled off something so beautiful in just 3 months, every little detail was planned to perfection and just looked beautiful when all pulled together.
As always, the morning at the Groom’s house turned out to a complete contrast to the morning I spent with the Bride…
Charlotte took my breath away when she stepped in to her stunning Stuart Parvin bridal gown. She just seemed to float all the way through the Chester Grosvenor as she made her way to her awaiting Groom. The ceremony room looked incredibly romantic with the cream carpeted aisle lined with small potted trees and flickering church candles, all perfected by Helen at Wild Floral Design in Chester. As Charlotte made her way down the aisle even I had to take a moment to take everything in as it was all just so perfect.
After the ceremony guests made their way outside, briefly pausing for a huge group shot under the ornate chandelier on the grand staircase at The Grosvenor. The wedding guests lined themselves up outside ready to shower the the new Mr and Mrs Farboud with confetti while passers by tried to catch a glimpse of the Bride and Groom from the street and along the historic Chester Roman walls…
We then snuck off the capture some wonderful shots at Grosvenor Park in Chester. Ioan at Celynnen Photography did a great job of keeping them laughing while getting some stunning shots. I always love filming this bit as the Bride and Groom area a lot more relaxed and I go all gooey inside seeing them look lovingly in to each others eyes!
Guests were then treated to a 5 star wedding breakfast from the Chester Grosvenor chefs before being entertained by some great speeches that were both humorous and heart-warming.
Charlotte and Amir had the band, Hotfoot Trio, play their first dance song before their guests joined them on the dancefloor to show off some of their best moves-a reason why we stay just that little bit longer so we can capture that on film!
