The CFDA (The Council of Fashion Designers of America) Awards, which took place in New York on Monday, had this year’s most stylish red carpet with many of the designers showing up with their “muses”. Michael Kors showed up with Blake Lively and Christian Siriano had supermodel Coco Rocha on his arm. The CFDA Awards are like fashion industry Oscars. Winners included Joseph Altuzarra for Womenswear Designer of the Year, Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen for Accessories Designer of the Year and Tom Ford who received a Lifetime Achievement award, but the hottest action, as always, was on the red carpet. The most headline grabbing celebrity was Rhianna who showed up wearing a custom made gown with 216,000 Swarovski crystals and was completely sheer, so basically she was (nearly) naked. My favourites were Marion Cotillard in a really cute Dior dress and Iman in a beautiful flowing blue and purple gown. Who were your faves?
