So the Nutty Professor is hosting the Oscars?

It was announced earlier this week that Eddie Murphy will be hosting the Oscars on February 26th. I’m going to say it, I’m not happy with this choice and I have a very good reason for it. Remember when Eddie impregnated Scary Spice and then denied that it was his baby!?
Let’s hop into our time machine…when a Dutch TV program asked Eddie about Mel B’s baby, Eddie grossly said, “I don’t know whose child that is until it comes out and has a blood test.” Oh yes Eddie, I remember and there is one thing you don’t do…F with a Spice Girl!
Brett Ratner and Don Mischer, the producers of the Academy Awards chose the Nutty Professor saying, “Eddie is a comedic genius, one of the greatest and most influential live performers ever…” and blah, blah, blah. Eddie of course, is thrilled to be hosting. “I am enormously honored to join the great list of past Academy Award hosts from Hope and Carson to Crystal, Martin and Goldberg, among others…” Murphy said.
Eddie – Hopefully this will get you out of the slump you’ve been in. Let’s be real, in 2006 you were nominated for an Oscar for your role in “Dream Girls” and you’ve been the voice of that donkey on “Shrek.” That’s all I’ve heard about. I’m going to speculate what the reason is for your waning movie career. Since the Spice Girls are the definition of girl power and you demeaned Scary Spice, you have ultimately demeaned every woman on the planet. You better do a good job hosting or the Spice fans will be waiting for you in the parking lot.
Lohan is back in the news…surprisingly it’s not Lindsay

You kids remember Lindsay Lohan’s little sister Ali, right? Well, the 17-year-old has caused quite the stir lately…because of her new face. Yea that’s right, she no longer looks like a member of the Lohan clan.
This year Ali signed a multi-year deal with NEXT Modeling and has decided that this is the career path she wants to take. Recently, new pics hit the interweb and if they didn’t tell me it was Ali, I would have never known who this random girl was. She looks like one of those girls on some ABC Family drama show.
Since Lil Lohan looks so different, Steve Honig (Lil Lohan’s rep) was forced to comment. According to People.com “Aliana has never had any type of plastic surgery in her life, nor has she ever considered it…During the past two years, she has gone through a normal teenage growth spurt that has made her taller and slimmer.”
Steve - I don’t think anyone believes you. Did Dina make you do this? If so, I understand. Also, could this be a ploy to get Ali back in the spotlight? Since Lindsay isn’t the breadwinner anymore, Dina needs someone to buy her new purses and shoes.
Bitch lost a tooth!?

Evan Rachel Wood is really on her way to becoming a star. Not like a Snooki or Paris kind of star, but an Academy Award kind of star.
While working/promoting her new film, “The Ides of March” in Venice, she decided to hop over to Paris and celebrate her birthday. I mean, who doesn’t do that on their bday? She must have put her party pants on because she was on the dance floor getting jiggy with it.
Wood describes the missing tooth incident as such, “I was with some friends and it was two hours after midnight and we were dancing. I just collided with someone’s elbow and I knew immediately that my teeth had been knocked out. Sure enough, I had this tooth pulled out,” she says, pointing to a front tooth. “I managed to laugh through it. I was quoting ‘The Hangover.”
I keep trying to imagine what dance moves the person who knocked the tooth out was dishing out. Maybe they bust out the elbow dance moves more in Europe than here in America. I’m just happy that Evan Rachel Wood didn’t try and deny that she was missing a tooth and tried to glue it in like Tara Reid did that one time. Yes Tara, I remember.
