Celebrating Women in History Let's fly through time and remember women in history and their achievements! How they continue to inspire us, surprise us and propel us toward new frontiers. Women's History Month is observed every March in the United States.  Here are some Firsts by American Women: 1650  Anne Bradstreet's book of poems, The Tenth Muse Lately Sprung Up in America, is published in England, making her the first published American woman writer.
