Daily flights to/from Kuala Lumpur, the first among many new routes
from AirAsia Zest hub in Cebu
CEBU, 1 Dec.2013 - AirAsia Zest, the Filipino Low Cost Carrier that flies hand in hand with AirAsia, voted the World’s Best Low Cost Carrier, today launched its first international flight from Mactan Cebu International Airport to Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Flight Z2 187, operated by an all-Filipino crew, left Mactan Cebu International Airport at 6:00AM and arrived ahead of schedule at Kuala Lumpur’s Low Cost Carrier Terminal (LCCT) carrying over 100 guests.A traditional water-dousing ceremony welcomed AirAsia Zest return flight from Kuala Lumpur when its Airbus A320 touched down at Mactan Cebu airport at 2:50PM.“Today’s inaugural flight is only the first among the many new routes that AirAsia Zest will launch in Cebu.
