As I was stood at the sink washing the morning pots after walking the dogs around the paddock, I heard a gentle snoring, I turned round expecting to see Suky stretched out in her bed .....
... but no she was fast asleep on her feet. Something Pugs do so well. The camera was in reach so without moving or making a noise I got the first two shots, then she heard me.
" Drat ... you caught me snoozing!! "
In other news, the hole in the paddock driveway is now even larger, two of the drainage ring bases are in and one top is in place, unfortunately the sunny weather of yesterday, when it really did feel like Spring had sprung has gone away and poor Arthur is working in drizzle.
I had to stop on the way back from taking him a cuppa and get a picture of the rather large pebbles he unearthed yesterday. To try and get the size in perspective they are next to the larger trunk part of the old oak tree that Lovely Hubby had to get Arthur and his digger to lift and turn over, as it was too big to cut through with the chainsaw from one side and he was unable to even roll it over himself.
I hope we will be able to position some of our large rocks somewhere and make a feature of them, but I'm racking my brains to think of where.
