Cass McCombs – “There Can Be Only One”

The Can Be Only One 300x300 Cass McCombs There Can Be Only One

In this easy-going new track from capricious art-rock guru Cass McCombs, he sings about the kind of love he is feebly dedicated to.  ”Two masters no man can acquire / you set my heart ablaze / there’s nothing new under the sun / who owns my heart? / there can be only one” he apathetically confesses.  While his style is charmingly hard to pinpoint, this song airs on the lighter side of Cass McCombs, perhaps his last little dedication to summer’s fading warmth.  October 15th sees the release date of his Big Wheel And Others via Domino.

And check out these two new tracks from Toro Y Moi and a new version of Azealia Banks’ “ATM Jam”.  ”Campo” is a groovy track from an upcoming 7-inch by Toro Y Moi.  Producer Kaytranada pulls from house, drum ‘n’ bass, and R&B in his version of Azealia Banks / Pharell’s “ATM Jam”.
