Most likely known among many of you as Nick Liam, the london songsmith has chosen a new guise to release his music under: introducing himself as Lorne - to an old and new audience alike - his melodic musings haven't lostany of theirprior heartfelt and haunting quality. In fact, they are as invitingly emotional and euphonious as ever, to an extent even that the listener will be inevitably drawn tothe mellow, melodiously mesmerizing soundscapes on show 'Bread Alone' - due to be released in september - is of significant alluring aura and reflects the singer/songwriter's sensitive, cinematic (as far as instrumental staging goes) approach tomusic perfectly; full of heart-ache and soaked in atmosphere, the single strikes on a sentimental level first,while sumptuously soaring piano melodies, gracefully yearning stringsection serenades and soulful vocals create something purely beautiful and stirring péu a péu.
It's with a delicate sense that Lorne raises ethereal, dreamfully ambient and emotive sounds; a musical delicacy that enthralls at full-length.
