A sought after dining spot for locals and tourists alike, Camille’s at Crystal Beach located above the charming Beachside Inn, offers the freshest seafood that can be found in Destin. A sister restaurant to Harbor Docks, Camille’s at Crystal Beach serves Gulf seafood that is caught in local waters by local fisherman and unloaded right on the dock at Harbor Docks Seafood Market, ensuring a Gulf to table experience. Founded by Charles Morgan, Camille’s at Crystal Beach has a casual, family friendly dining atmosphere, and was named after Morgan’s grandmother and mother, two women who made a great impact on him. They are referred to as Big Camille and Little Camille, respectively.

Executive Chef Blake Van Zandt, has won awards for his gumbo presentation that is packed with flavor and full of Destin’s finest seafood, saying, “It is more like a bouillabaisse since I don’t make a roux, and I make it fresh to order!” Much of the produce for Camille’s at Crystal Beach comes from sister restaurant, Red Bay Grocery, and their farming co-op. Van Zandt likes to keep his menu innovative by constantly evolving and creating cuisine with a Southern yet contemporary flair.

The sushi is the talk of the town, as Camille’s at Crystal Beach’s Executive Sushi Chef Yoshie Eddings is well known internationally, having catered to an A-list celebrity clientele. Eddings trains all of the sushi staff at Camille’s and at the sister restaurant locations, maintaining the highest quality and standards possible to ensure that each bite will be the freshest and most delectable. Locals and tourists alike can’t get enough of the Backdown Roll that includes cream cheese, tempura batter, shrimp, cucumber, spicy sauce, and is topped with tuna, avocado, and a krab salad.
