Busy Girls Summer Nail Art Challenge - Mix Match

By Marijonails @marijonails
Hi everyone!!
Time for another Busy Girls Summer Nail Art Challenge.  This week, the challenge is Mix Match.  I've been experimenting with mixing colors and finishes for some time now and I love to do it, but as always, it took me some time to come up with the colors I'd be using.  I decided on Shimmer Jennifer (a mixture of blue pastel glitters), Lex Cosmetics (a lovely light coral creme), and Orly Harmonious Mess (dusty blue creme).  Here's what I came up with.

Index finger: I used Lex Cosmetics Nectar as a base and added some polka dots with Orly Harmonious Mess.
Middle finger: I used Harmonious Mess as a base and added Nectar with saran wrap.  I then added a thin coat of Shimmer Jennifer.
Ring finger: I used Harmonious Mess as a base, then added dots with Jennifer and created the lines around the dots with Nectar.
Pinky finger: Three coats of Jennifer on its own.
I used Rejuvacote as a base and Seche Vite Fast Dry Top Coat.

On my thumb, I used Harmonious Mess as a base and added a coat of Jennifer.

I really liked how my Mix and Match turned out.  Nectar and Harmonious Mess go really well with Jennifer.
What do you guys think of this manicure?  Do you ever mix and match your polishes?
