A warning before you read on – this release is DARK. It is probably the darkest thing I have ever posted on my blog. However, if you enjoy audio collages and experimental music that is a little twisted, you may well find a new favorite in Brian Square. Each of the six tracks sound very different, but they all feature a spectrum of sounds and textures, along with a general feeling of dread. This is a release best heard through headphones, putting forward a listening experience that is both awe-inspiring and at times terrifying. Not for the faint of heart, but truly inspiring for those who can appreciate it – The Star-Spangled Banner and There Is No Sin For All This are both personal favourites.
