-As I mentioned on Twitter earlier today, Angelina Jolie’s op-ed about her double mastectomy is not only stunning and inspiring, but it also proves that she can be a goddamit ninja with the paparazzi when she wants to be. Also, her timing and choice of publication once again proves her media-savviness.

-Brad Pitt has also spoken out about his “absolutely heroic” fiancée. His mother also praised her.

-Those Beyoncé pregnancy rumours have gotten a lot louder since she cancelled a  show due to “exhaustion.”

-For Jaden Smith‘s 15th birthday, he asked to be emancipated from Will and Jada. I really, really hope he started that conversation with “Ok, here’s the situation…

-Amanda Bynes continues to be a menace on Twitter, posting ”I f—ed @Drakebell so many times on the Amanda Show set oh god” before deleting it.

-Chris Pine admits he cries a lot. “Up destroyed me. Up was like the animated Amour.”

-Speaking of Chris, his new Star Trek movie is getting rave reviews.

-In other Star Trek cast news, Zoe Saldana told Allure that she might “end up with a woman.”  Also, why the hell did the magazine feel the need to print her weight on the cover?

-Bill Hader is the latest SNL cast member to jump ship. But who will tell us about NYC’s hottest clubs now?!

-Nicole Kidman just landed a new Jimmy Choo endorsement deal.

-How I Met Your Mother finally (finally!) gave us a glimpse of the mother last night, but don’t expect to see her again until the very end of the series. The creators say they’re going to stretch Robin and Barney’s wedding weekend out over the entire final season. And I’m out!

-Today was ABC’s turn at the upfronts, where they totally blew up their fall schedule. The trailers for Joss Whedon‘s S.H.I.E.L.D., Christian Slater and Steve Zahn‘s Mind Games and Rebel Wilson‘s Super Fun Night look most promising. But why the hell are they forcing Rebel to do an American accent?

-The stars are starting to arrive at Cannes. This outfit bodes well for Emma Watson‘s red carpet choices.

-Speaking of good outfits, I love Amy Poehler’s upfronts dress.

-Amy’s Parks and Recreation costar Rashida Jones directed this new music video.

-Here are photos of Katie Holmes shooting a romantic scene with Canadian actor Luke Kirby. I saw him once at a Q&A for Take This Waltz which ended with him lying down in the middle of the stage so…yeah, she can probably do better.

-I would totally watch a show in which Kylie Minogue plays She-Ra!

-James Franco admits that Your Highness sucked.

-Meanwhile, the trailer for Franco‘s Cannes movie As I Lay Dying, an adaptation of Faulkner’s novel, has landed.

-It looks like Joe Wright won’t be directing the Fifty Shades of Grey adaptation after all.

-A new Catching Fire poster has dropped, as has a new photo from Divergent. Why are they only releasing stills showing Shailene Woodley from the side?

-Shia LaBeouf exhausts me with this shit.

-It’s a good week for streaming music. Yesterday was Daft Punk, today it’s The National.

-Rachel McAdams has made another time-travelling romance flick. But at least this one stars Bill Nighy!
