Bras are complicated little buggers right for both seamstresses and non. For women who don’t sew them, the process of trying it on anxiety-inducing and for women who sew them, the process of sourcing trims can be a headache. Believe me, I know!

Stop fretting because on November 8, 2014, thousands of sewers and DIY-ers will gather together for The Sewing Party, an online conference with over 30 classes relating to sewing and crafting. My homegirls Lauren and Jen will be teaching as well as yours truly. I’ll be teaching Bra Making with Madalynne. Yeh, that’s right, a live, step-by-step tutorial on how to make a bra from start to finish. In one hour, I’ll cover choosing a bra pattern, finding your size, fabrics and trims, tracing and cutting and constructing a full band, underwired bra. It’s a basic, basic class that if you’ve never sewn a bra, you’ll leave with a good understand of how to put one together yourself.

If you haven’t signed up, there’s still time! Register online now at TheSewingParty.com and in the meantime, what this cute commercial below.
