Director Mani Ratnam’s latest release Kadali has turned out to be a major disaster at the box office. The film opened poorly on day 1 and with a very poor talk too. It never picked up from that point and as things stand today looks like the film could end up its run in most of the places this Friday itself.
Kadali continues the poor performance of Mani Ratnam films in Andhra Pradesh. His last big success was Sakhi starring Madhavan which was more than a decade ago. Even otherwise the director has only one success elsewhere besides Sakhi which is Guru in Hindi.
