Botanical Skin Care in One Simple Step!

By Yonni @vegandthecity
Botanical Skin Care in one Simple Step! Skin care is so essential ~ something I can appreciate more than ever now that I am in my 40's!  It's one thing to be there, it's another to look it!
I told you before about how much I love Giovanni brand 2Chic collection and their ultra-sleek shampoo.  My hair is silky smooth after each wash, and it has such a lovely scent ~ nothing too overpowering which I appreciate greatly...not to mention it is a botanical line of products, and cruelty-free.
Botanical Skin Care in one Simple Step!Well, the also have styling, wellness and repair treatments for your hair and daily color defense shampoos and conditioners (another bonus for those of us trying to keep that gray away...) but what I recently discovered are their facial cleansing towelettes. One was unscented with echinacea and aloe vera, and the other was citrus and cucumber, which I surprisingly preferred.  Maybe it was because it reminded me of the citrus and cucumber water I enjoy when I visit the spa...?
Botanical Skin Care in one Simple Step! Each piece is "ultra-soft and naturally formulated to comfortably and easily remove makeup, event mascara!!!" They are also hypo-allergenic, dermatologist, clinically and opthamologist tested, non-comedogenic, and alcohol and oil free. I was away for a weekend with a couple of friends and we each sampled them to see if the advertising rang true ~ it did!
I also sampled the D:tox system facial care products.  The cleanser and scrub are made with activated charcoal, volcanic ash and super-antioxidants like acai and goji berry (what an outrageous but effective combination.) Despite how it sounds, it is so gentle on your skin.  Follow that with their replenishing moisturizer or purifying facial mask, helping to extract your deepest skin impurities and bring a silky, restored look and feel to your skin.
