Boho Chic Winter Look

Lush Leah Shift Dress

I wouldn’t exactly call myself a bohemian kind of girl. My wardrobe tends to lean more towards J. Crew than Anthropolgie Hippie Chic. But this nursing Mama hasn’t worn a dress in forever! And when I saw this Leah Shift Dress by Lush for less than $25 on Black Friday I snapped it up. It looked comfortable, forgiving and my favorite color-navy blue. And guess what? It is! But of course just as it arrived our temps dipped. So I styled it up for a Boho Chic Winter Look.

I was a little worried about this dress being too short but it’s just right. It has a bit of an asymmetrical hem so it’s a bit longer in the back. This is a medium but I probably could have sized down to a small as this knit has a bit of stretch and the shape is really forgiving. And it looks really cute with opaque tights (similar) and boots (similar). I think my favorite part of this dress is the back. It has nice pleats down the sides and an open keyhole back. You can wear it with the open back exposed or throw faux fur vest or  long cardigan over the top.

I paired it with my Kut from the Kloth Denim Jacket which is by far the best denim jacket I have ever owned. It’s not too thick and it has a good amount of stretch.  Warm things up with a cozy infinity scarf (similar) in navy. But a plum or a brown scarf would have looked great too.  I have a feeling this dress is going to get a lot of mileage. I’m actually looking forward to wearing it with sandals in the spring.
