Air Force One,@ Moffett Federal Airfield, Mountain View, CA

June 2016

From last week’s opportunity to capture images of Air Force One as President Obama departed Moffett Field after a visit.  A takeoff in the afternoon light takeoff was a great opportunity not to be passed up and luckily I had no meetings scheduled.  Here is a rear three-quarter view as they continued to climb out after takeoff.  This is one of two modified Boeing 747s are designated VC-25A by the USAF, highly modified versions of Boeing’s 747-200B.  Air Force One is the call sign of any U.S. Air Force aircraft carrying the President of the United States.  Nikon D500 w/80-400mm, processing with Aperture.
