This is a five image HDR shot handheld with my Nikon D300, processed with Photomatix and post-processed with Aperture. The Liberty Foundation is touring with this B-17, a Douglas built ‘F’ model that was used in the 1990 movie chronicling the real “Memphis Belle”. This aircraft served s a fire bomber for over twenty years before a 1982 restoration to her wartime configuration.
