I am a firm practitioner that the best camera to use is the one that you have on hand.  I have taken thousands of photos with my iPhones over the years and the results keep getting better.  This is the flight deck of a former British Airways 747-136 (Boeing 747-136, serial #20269 registry G-AWNG) that is a popular exhibit at the Hiller Aviation Museum.  This aircraft entered service in 1971 and retired 27 years later, only to be saved from recycling and brought to the museum where United Airlines has a big hand in restoring the interior.  iPhone 5 photo taken with ProHDR app and processed with Aperture.
