Hello world! I’m back after two weeks of busy business travel through Toronto, Seattle and Boston. My team flew me out for a series of training days in the three cities, and now my mental toolbox is equipped with all the tools I need to create courses at Microsoft. In between meetings and cross-campus shuttles, we managed to slip away for a day on Lake Washington, where we enjoyed panoramic views of Seattle’s gorgeous skyline and Mount Rainier.
Lake Washington just might be the most interesting lake in the world. There are so many sights to be seen from its waters, including old refineries, the Sleepless in Seattle boathouse (the greyish one pictured below) and Bill Gates’ house! Bill came out and invited us up for lunch…at least, that’s how it happened in my daydream.
