Bliss Lemon + Sage Body Butter

By Bbeautylove @bbeautylove

You can’t beat a good body butter. A thick, nourishing and indulgent skin treat that is a real must at this time of year when even the greasiest of skin can become dry and tight.

Bliss are well known for their skin treats and their body butters always do well in glossy mag beauty awards. So, when I saw this on the front of this months Harpers Bazaar UK, I just had to try it and I have used it all up already!

It is paraben free (so no nasties) and contains coconut oil and vitamin E to soften and nourish the skin. Not only that, but it promises to help improve skins suppleness, firmness and smoothness.

Now this small 50ml bottle hasn’t completely changed my skin, but it won’t as a small sample size like this isn’t supposed to, it is to draw you in, but even after a few uses my skin felt softer and I found that it wasn’t getting as dry. It is quite a thick cream but it sinks in quickly and hydrates instantly so perfect for early mornings before work but just as good as a thorough treat after a long, hot bath.

The Lemon and Sage scent is fresh and not too strong, however sometimes I feel like it smells too much like a kitchen…

But they do a variety of body butter scents such as Blood Orange + White Pepper, Super Minty and a fragrance free one.

They are pricey but they really work and would make a great Christmas gift. ASOS has some nice mini’s that would be perfect for someone special.

Available from feelunique.com, BLISS online, larger Debenhams stores and ASOS. Priced £20.50 for 200ml.
