The end of April marked the finale of National Cancer Control and Minority Health Month, but our initiative surrounding cancer awareness continues. Check out the BlackWomenStandUp.com’s Cancer Memorial Wall, where we pay homage to women of color who have lost their fight against cancer. These women are no longer with us in the physical but their spirits live on; if you would like to honor a love one who has transitioned on due to one of the gynecological/breast cancers we would love to add their picture to the wall.
