If you know me then you know it’s no secret that I love Kendrick Lamar- come over at almost any time of the day and you can hear good kid, m.A.A.d. city playing in my house. When I like an artist that much I’m usually incredibly hesitant on remixes, but leave it to Star Slinger to take my favorite Kendrick Lamar joint and turn it into a track that’s ready for the dance floor. Like he did with Drake‘s “Crew Love,” Star Slinger takes the laid-back feel of the original and turns up the energy, increasing it to 120bpm and adding synths and a new drum beat.
