this weekend was filled with both happiness and sadness. i am not ready to share the sadness and i'm not sure if i will. sunday however, was my mom's birthday and i spent the day cooking and baking. i even attempted in making chocolate bowls for the ice cream thanks to pinterest! most of them turned out great however i would put an extra coat of chocolate on next time. it was a nice low key dinner with just my parents, brother, and jeremy followed by angel food cake (the only type of cake i actually like and my mom's favorite), ice cream, and presents. how do you celebrate birthdays? is it low key or do you go all out?xoxo,lindsay
