What is it with Big Break contestants coming up with wacky golf shots. First we had the James Lepp 'Saucer Pass', and now we have Will Lowery with an interesting cross handed shot.
ORLANDO, Fla. (Oct. 24, 2013) – Golf Channel’s BIG BREAK NFL PUERTO RICO contestant Will Lowery (Charlotte,
N.C.) joined Golf Channel’s Morning Drive in-studio on Wednesday and
discussed his unique cross-handed playing style, sharing swing thoughts
alongside Steve Flesch and Damon Hack during a live segment in front of
Golf Channel’s simulator.

former BIG BREAK INDIAN WELLS participant, this season Lowery is
competing alongside NFL legendary wide receiver and Heisman Trophy
winner Tim Brown, along with fellow professional golfer Mallory
Blackwelder.
Other NFL legends competing on BIG BREAK NFL PUERTO RICO
include Hall-of-Famers Jerry Rice and Chris Doleman, along with Marc
Bulger, Al Del Greco and Mark Rypien. Filmed at Dorado Beach Resort in
Puerto Rico, the series features each of the six NFL legends – all
boasting single digit handicaps with several having competed in PGA TOUR
and Web.com Tour events – joining two BIG BREAK competitors (one
male and one female) to form three-person teams. On the line will be
$50,000 to the winning NFL legend’s designated charity, along with 2014
PGA TOUR and LPGA Tour tournament exemptions, cash and other prizes for
the BIG BREAK competitors.
BIG BREAK NFL Puerto Rico airs Tuesday nights at 9 P.M. ET on Golf Channel.
