Love is patient and is kind; love does
not envy. Love does not brag, is not proud, does not behave itself
inappropriately, does not seek its own way, is not irritable, does
not keep a record of wrongs; does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but
rejoices with the truth; bears all things, believes all things, hopes
all things, endures all things. Love never fails. But where there are
prophecies, they will be done away with. Where there are various
languages, they will cease. Where there is knowledge, it will be done
away with. 1 Cor 13:4-8
For the commandments, “You shall not
commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not
steal,” “You shall not covet,” and whatever other commandments
there are, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall
love your neighbor as yourself.”Love does not harm a neighbor. Love
therefore is the fulfillment of the law. Romans 13:9-10
Above all things be earnest in your
love among yourselves, for love covers a multitude of sins. 1 Peter

There is no fear in love; but perfect
love casts out fear, because fear has punishment. He who fears is not
made perfect in love. We love, because he first loved us. If a man

who does not love his brother whom he has seen, cannot love God whom
