Acne is malfunction and deformity found mostly in teenagers but for those who consider this to be a characteristic limited only to the ones residing in the teenage sector of age, well they are sorely mistaken. Acne can occur in a number of people belonging to any age group and the causes for its origination can be owed to a number of factors.

Cosmetics

First step to take is to clear your skin with warm water .This helps in preventing the accumulation of oils and such viscous materials that many cosmetics entail or embody. They can clog up your pores and cause acne as well. You would be better off by utilizing cosmetics that are light weight and are based generally on water.

Medications

Medications composed of iodides, bromides, and lithium can also cause acne and steroids are another reason for the aggravation of acne in skin pores. Too much of a good thing can also cause acne, as proven by the fact that extravagant sampling of vitamin B1, B6 and B12 can do more damage or harm , than good. They are beneficial for the skin in small quantities but can act as a catalyst for increasing acne if taken in improper and large dosages.
