Established in a very spacious area of 30 acres of land and now planning to extend it to 27 acres in future to make it into a International film school. Its a dream for aspiring filmmakers to get a seat in this film school. This film school offers wide range of film courses like direction,acting,film editing,cinematography etc.,. But seats are limited to 26 in number for all the departments except acting. If u want to step up into direction department in this film school its a mandatory thing to have a graduation degree. And plus two for Sound Engineering.

Satyajit Ray Film And Television Institute
Second preferred to FTII is Satyajit Ray Film And Television Institute, Kolkata. Established in the year 1995 and is looked after ministry of information and broadcasting. Very sophisticated and well furnished with all the needed equipment. A very good film library with a golden collection of films from world wide. It gives a very good exposure to aspiring filmmakers about various trends in different crafts.Seats are only limited to 40 and have good canteen and hostel facility. If u are very particular about joing a film school keep this as your second option.

Whistling Woods International
One of my most recommended film school for aspiring filmmakers. If u have money don't think twice go and get a seat from this film school. This is located at Mumbai. Established in the year 2006 by the famous producer and director Subhaash Ghai. It has got all the facilities needed to fulfill the needs of an budding filmmaker. All the equipment in this institute is equipped with Sony Technology. You can listen classes from legends like Subhash Ghai, A.R. Rehman, Nasiruddin Shah, Hema Malini, Shyam Benegal and many more. So, as mentioned above don't think twice to join this film school guys. But if u don't have proper financial support then think twice. Since joining this film school is very expensive. But a fantastic film school one can dream of.

Center For Research In Art Of Film And Television
This is one of the non governmental Organisation set to impart quality education in the fields of film making and television. Located at New Delhi. Established in the year 2009. But guys do not expect something like what u get in Whistling woods or any other film school which i have mentioned here. Since, this film school is governed by a trust. Faculty is okay but u cannot expect accommodation here. U have to look after your accommodation facilities if u want join this film school. And also, seats available are very minimum just ten in number. But like FTII this film school also provides many many of courses depending upon your interest u can choose your department. Overall, a good film school with moderate facilities don not compare with costly film schools like Whistling woods or Chennai film Institute.

Asian Academy Of Film And Television
AAFT is established in the year 1993 and it is one of the best film school what we have in India. It is the only film school with ISO certification. This was started as a alternative for formal film schools and since then there is no looking back. This is one of the most reputed and reliable film school in India. This offers different types of courses like 1 year diploma, 2 year diploma and 3 months courses.It offers wide number of courses with fantastic equipment's and film floors for practice. Hostel facility is available and placement facility is also available. What more u can expect from any film school..? One of the best.
