The Sonoma County Sheriff’s Bell 407, “Henry 1”, was photographed during a SWAT long-line demonstration. After 25 years of leasing various types, the County purchased this 1996 Bell 407 in 2008 from the Los Angeles Police Department. First flown in 1996, the 407 is a derivative of the LongRanger with a four-bladed rotor. The Bell 407 is in civil service around the world with airlines, corporations, hospital, government operators and private individuals. It is also in service with several military operators.
