Bedouine’s Soft ‘Dusty Eyes’ Is Your New Love Anthem [Stream]

Syrian-born, Saudi Arabia-raised, American singer-songwriter Bedouine’s name is not for nothing.  Now LA-based, Azniv Korkejian’s nomadic trail of influences, both cultural and musical, has crafted her whimsical style of ease-in folk, evidenced on new track “Dusty Eyes.”

Korkejian’s sleepy, hypnotic verse creeps into your ears the way the smell of coffee drifts from the kitchen on a late Sunday morning. The soft, pastel drums and light orchestral sound build over sunlit, folky electric guitar. The chorus flows out of Korkejian like one lazily crawls from bed on a day without plans. The track is timeless, an unpretentious 1960s folk renaissance, and offers an exciting insight into Bedouine’s recently announced self-titled debut album, due June 23 via Spacebomb Records.
